Roxio Easy CD Creator lets you create audio or data CDs from files on your hard drive, or extract files from audio CD. These scripts were written with version 5.3, the latest version available at the time, and will run on JAWS 4.0 or later.
One of the most annoying things about this application is that, in some cases, operating the arrow keys to change selection on one window, will cause focus to be automatically switched to a different window, complicating your effort to explore the original window. These scripts correct this behavior, making your operation much more convenient. Hot keys are provided to focus on the various panes, as well as to place a selected track, or set of tracks, into your CD layout. Extensive insert+f1 help is provided for each window. And, the media player is fully supported, allowing you to move around in a track as you listen to it, or to conveniently move between tracks.
If you would like to take these scripts for a test drive, you must first Download A Demo Authorization File. Place this file in your settings\enu folder along with the contents of the zip file below.
Also, Download Easy CD Creator 5.3 Scripts version 1.1 For Jaws 4.0 or Later
Unzip the above file into your settings\enu folder for the version of jaws you are running. Then, start the application. Press insert+q. JAWS should say "scripts version 1.1 for Easy CD Creator version 5.3". If JAWS says that default settings are loaded, you have not properly unzipped the files. If JAWS gives you a script load error when you place focus on the application, you have not installed the snow_creatr50.jsb temporary authorization file.
When operated as a demo, these scripts will inform you that they are in demo mode each time you switch focus back into the Easy CD Creator application. You can operate the scripts for ten minutes. After that, you can get another ten minutes by restarting jaws. The Ten minute timer continues to run while you are in the Media player, which is actually a separate application. When the timer expires, you can continue to operate both programs without the aid of the scripts.
